Poster Session: Text+ Plenary 2026

The Text+ Plenary 2026 marks the conclusion of the first funding phase and presents key results, developments, and experiences from the four Task Areas: Collections, Editions, Lexical Resources, and Infrastructure/Operations.

As part of the event, a poster session is scheduled for June 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Fuchs-Petrolub-Saal (Mannheim Palace). Directly preceding the poster session, there will be an opportunity to introduce individual posters during a poster slam. The poster session concludes the first day of the event, providing a space for exchange, networking, and discussion.

Thematic Focus

We particularly welcome posters on topics of cross-Task-Area and consortial relevance that connect multiple Text+ domains or highlight shared developments, methods, infrastructures, applications, and use cases. The goal is to illustrate synergies within Text+ and beyond in the NFDI context, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue. Interested parties with a thematically relevant contribution are invited to submit a proposal.

Formalities

If you would like to propose a poster, please send the following information by email to textplus-events@ids-mannheim.de by April 15, 2026:

  1. Title of the poster
  2. Names of the presenters
  3. Contact email address and affiliation
  4. Short description (up to 300 words)

At least one presenter must be on-site for each poster.

If a poster is accepted, presenters are generally responsible for printing it themselves, preferably in A0 portrait format. Additionally, a PDF of the poster must be provided for publication after the plenary but before the poster session; an upload link will be provided following the acceptance of the poster.

All posters presented during the Text+ Plenary will subsequently be published on Zenodo. By submitting, contributors agree to this publication.

We look forward to contributions that showcase innovative approaches and joint developments within the Text+ community.
